I have never had a bad time here. The food is freakn incredible, and the people are amazing, and i honestly believe they have the best margaritas hands down. I love everything about this place.

Edit: it's been awhile since our first visit and it has gone down hill. Ordered a shrimp fajita chimichanga. The shrimp was overcooked and extremely chewy. Considering the time we had to wait for our food the must have cooked them the entire 40 mins. Mo's chili relleno and cheese enchilada. The enchilada was a cheese taco with cold cheese and the relleno had very little chili pepper in it. We didn't finish our meals because of the disappointment!

We tried Margaritas on East Broadway for the first time last week. We were so pleased were back again this evening. The Pineapple Fajitas were amazing and my wife gives the Jumbo Margarita a chefs kiss! Marcelino was incredible and kind. He even scooted the booth up for our kids to reach the table. We are on our way to making this place a weekly outing.

We went to try the buffet on Saturday evening and it was the best mexican food I have ever seen on a buffet. I am really looking forward to going back and trying the menu. I sampled a lot of their dishes on the buffet tamales, enchiladas, fajita chicken, cheese dip . The staff is very friendly.

I got the carnitas. It was delicious even the next day COLD from the fridge. Keep in mind this update is several months overdue so that should give an idea of how much I liked it.

So my final thoughts, the restaurant is good but keep the buffet for the kids or selective eaters. Order off menu otherwise.

As one of very few restaurants in Tennessee to offer a Mexican buffet, it deserves props just for existing. They also offer regular menu entrees, which I've heard are very good. I haven't had their menu entrees, but their buffet is great if you arrive during peak hours. One star deducted because the buffet doesn't seem to be as great if you arrive at a slow time of the day. During slow times, they seem not to refresh the food at the buffet nearly enough, leaving some items depleted and others not-so-fresh.

They have a freaking buffet of Mexican food! What more needs to be said? Yum!

My fiance and I stopped in probably about 12:30-1pm on Sunday. First thing we noticed aside from the host was the little buffet. Curious, we decided to try it.

It's not bad. Very basic items chicken, beef, bean, tamale, taco shells on one bar. Sides along with a few other items on another. Finally toppings on another. This is 8.99 a person so keep that in mind along with the time we went.

The pans weren't full, which considering they had enchiladas and such I understood. But I think the heat under the pans may have been a touch high or maybe sitting a bit too long because they wanted to stick.

The bars themselves were clean, our server friendly. This place is located between Food City and Tobacco World. I'll update and give my final star review once we try the actual menu.

Like that it's a buffet. Prices reasonable. (3.99 for young kids, 5.99 middle aged kids, 8.99 for adults.) Like most buffets, some food fresher than others. Good variety. Service was good.

First time there, chips and salsa was really good. Went late so not crowded, ordered off the menu but will try the buffet if we get there earlier. Waiter was pleasant didn't really interrupt us during our meal. Beer was cold and food was piping hot out of the kitchen. The cheese sauce is extremely good. Looking forward to our next visit.

We eat here several times a week and the food and service are always good. Love this place.

Service was great. The waiter we had was and is always great. He recognizes regular customers and knows some of the appetizers we like. I will eat there again.

Margarita's recently opened a new location on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, and went all-out with renovations and decor. The food is good, though less consistently so than the Maryville location, and they have had a few other hiccups openening the new restaurant. Overall, though, the new location is getting better, and they really shine with the huge lunch buffet. This is a fun destination, friendly service, and plenty of authentic Mexican food with every order.

Margaritas Maryville !!!!!
Margarita's location in Maryville was a favorite for several years . It has gone dangerously down hill .\r
The food is not fresh it is not kept at a safe temp. The tables are dirty the chairs are torn .

Horrible service and Food
Horrible service and food health code score was a 69. roach came from the napkin holder when eating and the fork i had, was contaminated with previous food. On top of that the drink i was drinking out of had sour cream on the inside. I

I will be going there 4/23/2016 today to rate this resturant hopefully i hope its better than the reviews are showing but for now i will leave it 4 stars

Yum! I went here for dinner with my family and we ordered the chicken fajitas and chicken nachos. As an appetizer we had the queso dip. The portions are huge so you really get a lot for your money. The restaurant is clean and the service is prompt and friendly. The food was delicious and we got to try some sopapillas at the end - so good. I will come back the next time I'm in Maryville.

Tried the Pineapple fajitas this evening! Omg! Delicious! Wonderful plate full of food and they give you more then 3 tortillas. That is bonus points in my book!

There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in this city, but this one is by far our favorite. The food is delicious and their salsa is amazing. Even more importantly, the staff there feel like family. I call in to go and often they know exactly what I want when I tell them my name. In response to the review about it being filthy, always check their health scores. I've been eating there for several years and it's not fell below 98. Love this place!

How anyone can receive bad service from here, I'll never understand. We've been treated like family since the first time we ever stepped foot in here. Food is wonderful and the best queso EVER! The price is very affordable as well. You must try the buffet during lunch.
